Adams, Alton Richard, passed away on September 10, 2011 in Gainesville, Florida.
Formerly of Plant City, Mr. Adams was of Baptist faith. Predeceased by son, Jimmie Richard Adams, Sr., and daughter, Dorothy Theresa Adams, and grandson, Jimmie Richard Adams, Jr. Survivors include sons, Alton and Roy Adams, daughters, Velma Jeneise Wilson and Stephanie Bassinger, and sister Jean, and companion, Joan Hale. Twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 10-11 A.M. Funeral services to follow at Wells Memorial Chapel.
