Acerra, Andrew A. on April 6, 2012. Andrew was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He was a animal lover and had a great sense of humor. Andrew was the beloved husband of the late Florence. Andrew and Florence had 8 children, Andrea Dehler and her husband George, Richard and his wife Pamela, Michael and his wife Davetta, Mary Anne, Steven and his wife Karen, Christine Hansen and her husband Dave, Patricia and Andrew and his wife Noel. He is the cherished Pop of 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday 2-4 P.M. & 7-9 P.M. at the O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Rd. Centereach. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10 :45 AM at Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens. In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of Andrew to the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation will be appreciated.
