Angel W. Perez, 87, of Solvay, passed away Wednesday February 5, 2014 at home. He was born in Solvay to the late Sabeno and Sabena (Garcia) Perez and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Perez was the former owner of Elbridge Motors, past president of the Solvay Tigers AC and a member of the Camillus Elks Lodge #2367. He was predeceased by 2 brothers; Nick and Larry Perez and a sister, Regina Tom.
He is survived by his wife, the former Jeannette Lavigne; a son; Steven Perez, of Syracuse, 2 daughters; Gail (Curt) Sober, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Jacqueline Perez, of Solvay; 3 grandchildren; Alex Perez, Angelica Perez, and Kendra Sober; a sister; Agnes Mosher, of Solvay; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services and entombment in St. Mary's Mausoleum, DeWitt were private. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, has care of arrangements.
Contributions may be made in his memory to The St. Cecilia Food Pantry, 1001 Woods Rd. Solvay, NY 13209.
