Anita Louise Block, 66, died Thursday, October 14, 2010, in a local hospital.
She lived most of her life in the Vinton Area and attended the First Baptist Church of Vinton. She enjoyed life.
Survivors include her sisters, Elizabeth Black of Sweeny, Tx., Doris Laird of Oak Point, Tx., and Lollie Thompson of Sulphur; her aunt Vera Grimes; 1 nephew, 3 neices, 3 great nephews and 5 great nieces.
She is preceded in death by her husband Russell Lee Block; and her parents Hazel and Leamon Aldredge.
Her Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 16, in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. The Rev. Bobby Daniel will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
