Ann Anders Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 19, 2013.

Ann Teresa Brindle Anders

Surrounded by her loving family, Teresa Anders, 73, peacefully died on Jan 18, 2013. Born to Agnes and Isaac Brindle in Washington D.C. in 1939, she settled in VA Beach in 1974 with the love of her life, Alton 'Lee' Anders Sr, her husband of 54 years.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers, Louis and Richard Brindle, and Joe Baxter; her sisters, Mary and Judy Brindle; her nephews, Michael and Cory Brindle; and beloved niece, Sherri Sciulli.
Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and her dedication to her faith made her the person she was.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Lee; her children, Chris and wife Robin, Donis, Christina, and Louie Anders; her beloved sister, Donnie Baxter; her grandchildren, Andrew and Alex Bancroft, Allison Harris, Matthew and Michael Anders, Holly Eastman, and Whitney Hall; and her great-grandchildren, Daniel, Meadow, Zoe, and Paul. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will always treasure the love of their 'Mimi'. She will be forever remembered by her many loving nieces and nephews who gave her so much joy. Teresa was blessed with a wonderful family and fantastic friends for whom she constantly thanked God.
She lived life to the fullest and is now experiencing the greatest adventure of all. The family will receive guests at 5pm on Monday Jan 21, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Knights of Columbus, Charity Fund, Council 4632, 1236 Prosperity Rd, Va Beach, 23451 or to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
