Anna Colleen Johnson Allen
LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Anna Colleen Johnson Allen, 59, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Lexington, (Student Life Center) 415 Barr Road with interment to follow in Lexington Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
Anna was born March 3, 1953 in Richlands, VA and passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2012. She was a daughter of William Clinton Johnson and Mandy Lucille Collins Johnson.
Anna worked at Colonial Life Insurance Company until her retirement. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and an avid Georgia Tech fan. She was a friend to all and never met a stranger. She was a very kind and generous person. She was very courageous with her 4 year battle with breast cancer.
Anna is survived by her husband, David Allen of Lexington; son, Josh (Amanda) Perkey of Kingsport, TN; daughter, Christy Allen of Lexington; sons, Chad (Anna) Allen of Charleston and Andrew Allen of Lexington; grandchildren, Tristan Allen of Lexington, Davis Allen of Charleston and Sebastian Perkey of Kingsport, TN; sister, Sharon Slusher of Boston, MA, Karen Bell of Dayton, OH, Darrell (Debbie) Johnson of Dayton, OH and Edna (Tom) Hickey of Dayton, OH.
