Anna Aloe, (nee Bonavita ), 80, died on Saturday May 14, 2011 at JFK Hospital, Edison.
She was born in Amantea, Calabria, Italy. Anna came to the USA in 1954 and settled in Newark for 28 years before moving to Edison in 1982.
She is survived by her devoted husband, of 58 years, Francesco Aloe, loving children, Annunziato Aloe and his wife, Rachele and Elisa Pecoraro and her husband, Ross; cherished grandchildren, Anna Blair and her husband, Ryan, Gina Aloe, Salvatore, Nina and Joseph Pecoraro; dear siblings, Francesco Bonavita, Frances Carchia, Umberto, Rocco and Aldo Bonavita.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield on Wednesday at 9:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church, Nutley, followed by the entombment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be today May 17th from 3-8 pm.
