After the war years, Anna returned to being a housewife in Kansas City, KS. As her son entered grade school, she became a lunch worker in his school. She later worked as a restaurant worker then a factory worker before retiring. Prior to her retirement years, she raised her son; Harold Bruce Altman, helped her husband build houses, and helped her father and sisters whenever they needed it, working hard all her days.
