Funeral service for Anna Davis Alverson, age 59, of Childersburg will be Sunday, January 3, 3009 at 2 PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Reverend Mike Johnson officiating.Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by mother: Mary Davis; father: Connor Davis and Sister: Joan Walker. She was a member of Mt. Sharon Baptist Church, was a choir member, Sunday School Teacher and Gideons Auxillary. She is survived by her Husband: Jerry Alverson of Childersburg, Son: Jason Alverson (Shelley) of Childersburg, Daughter: Julie Johnson (Andy) of Childersburg, 3 Brothers: Max Davis (Wilma) of Crossville, Hugh Don Davis (Frankie) of Crossville, Benny Davis (Becky) of Crossville, 4 Sisters: Jenene Dorn of Minden, NB, Glenda Wilson (Joe) of Boaz, Sarah Nunn of Oxford, Sondra Stone (Jimmy) of Alexandria, 5 Grandchildren: Caitlin McCaa, Christa Johnson, Audrey Alverson, Canaan Johnson and Corlee Johnson. Curtis and Son Funeral Home Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
