Anna Mae Bibb, 77, of Red Rock, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at her home after a long illness.
She is survived by her children, Milissa Spain and Mark Spain, both of Red Rock; her grandchildren, Samantha Cook of Red Rock, Trenton and Kaitlyn Cook of Garfield; her great-grandchild Makenna Watson of Red Rock; her brothers and sisters, Mrs. Irene Goertz of Rockne, Mrs. Helen Frerich of Bastrop, Rev. Msgr. Alois Goertz of San Antonio, Sister Lucille Goertz of Boerne, Rev. Msgr. Victor Goertz of Georgetown, Sister Mary Rose Goertz of Boerne, Mark Goertz of Rockne, Mrs. Bernadette Beck of Rockne, Mrs. Marcella Muehr of Rockne, Elmer Goertz of Pflugerville and William Goertz of San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Bibb, her daughter, Donna M. Cook, and her parents, Rudolph and Hettie Goertz.
The funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Rockne. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Marrs, Jones, Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church Rockne.
Memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Anna Bibb.
