Ayala, Anne L., 93, of Tampa passed away on November 16, 2010. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Anne was born on September 28, 1917 in St. Paul, MN. She was predeceased by her husband USAF Major John S. Ayala. She received her Bachelor's degree from Florida State College for Women in 1938 and her Master's Degree from Texas Western College in 1953. She taught for 34 years. Students from Jefferson, Hillsborough and Leto High School recall this sprightly, engaging woman from their English, Journalism and Psychology classes. Anne gave generously of her talents and time to her church, the Museum of Art, The Spring, St. Josephs Hospital and the Retired Teachers Association. Anne was an elegant woman with a generous heart and a dry wit, loved and cherished by all. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 20, 11:30AM at Christ the King Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior for a visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Life Path Hospice or the charity of one's choice..
