LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Anne C. James, 70, will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 11:00 am at Life Springs Worship Center, 5630 Platt Springs Rd (across from White Knoll High School), Lexington, SC 29073 with interment to follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Mrs. James passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Born on August 22, 1942, she was wife of Art James and the daughter of the late Ralph and Collette Washburn Champion. She was a member of Life Springs Worship Center and a secretary for the Columbia Fire Department.
Surviving are siblings: Bill Champion of Shelby, NC; David (Jeanette) Champion of Shelby, NC; Joe (Terisa) Champion of Shelby, NC; Kathy (Kenny) Smith of Shelby, NC; Ginny (Floyd) Bush of Taylors, SC; Susan (Mont) Cooper of Campobello, SC and Glen Champion of Shelby, NC. Mrs. James was preceded in death by her siblings, Harry Champion and Betty Carolyn Champion.
