Anthony "Pepsi" Ciotola, 92, passed away June 20, 2013 at the North Bay Manor in Smithfield.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Elvera (Coia) Ciotola; husband of the late Rose (Izzi) Ciotola; father of Anthony J. Ciotola, Samuel L. Ciotola and wife Deborah, and Dr. Robert T. Ciotola and wife Cheryl; grandfather of Samuel and wife Maureen, Julie, Christopher and his wife Michelle, and Elizabeth and her husband Michael; great-grandfather of Arron, Jillian, Brady, Analise and Lucas; and brother of the late Dolorato and Alberino Ciotola.
Anthony had worked as a mechanical supervisor for Narragansett Electric for 45 years before retiring and had been a United States Army veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be held Sunday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Monday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, followed by entombment in the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Johnston.
