Arnold W. Armani

April 15, 1925 - October 8, 2012
Arnold W. Armani, 87, of Solvay, passed away Monday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Solvay to Barney and Judith (Togni) Armani, he was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. Arnold was an electrician at General Electric for 35 years before retiring in 1985. He was a longtime member of the Tyrol Club of Solvay and its Choraliers, the Geddes Veterans, the Oneida Lake Association and a lifelong parishioner of St. Cecilia Church. Arnold was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish alongside his many friends and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, the former Betty Scaia, 3 daughters; Beverly Armani, Barbara Armani and Pat Tuori, 2 grandsons; Ryan (Barbra) Tuori and Andrew Armani, 2 great grandchildren; Rowan and Quinn, his 2 brothers; Robert (Marilyn) Armani and William (Betty) Armani, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:45 am Thursday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia Church, Solvay, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Avenue.
