Arthur C. Arnold was born March 23, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, the only son of the late Arthur C., Sr. and Daisy Arnold. He attended Cass Technical School in Detroit, Michigan. After high school, he began his printing apprenticeship. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as a sergeant. After his service in the Army, he returned home and completed his apprenticeship.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan. He is the father of Craig (Shelly) Arnold and Nancy (Larry) Gillelan. He will also be missed by his five grandchildren Andy, Joanna, Jamie, Brandon and Jason.
Arthur worked at the family printing business Arnold Powers then as a salesman at Wallside Windows. Arthur could frequently be found fishing or playing poker with his buddies. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved playing video games on the Game Cube with his grandchildren, going out to eat with Joan or traveling to Florida or Vegas with his family where he loved playing the slots. When not out of the house, he loved watching hockey and basketball.
