Audrey Ann (Kreska) Strunk, 87, of Reading, former owner of Flowers by Audrey Ann in West Reading, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 in St. Joseph Medical Center.
She was the loving wife of the late Raymond H. Strunk Sr. Born in Reading on October 26, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and May (Pannabecker) Kreska.
She was a Reading High School Graduate, Class of 1944. She also attended Alvernia College and studied Art and Painting, Hixson School of Floral Design in Ohio, and Strang Floral Design School of Philadelphia, where she specialized in Wedding Design.
Audrey also taught Floral Design at RACC and designed on stage for many industry events, lectures and trade shows. She was a Master at art of floral design. She was a member of St. Mark's UCC and attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
She was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed Bingo and liked smiley faces. She was very generous and loved helping people. She had a good heart and always found the good in others. Her family was her world and she always put them first.
Surviving are four children: Timothy Strunk and his wife, Pamela, of Reading; Joy Lott and her husband, Chris, of Leesport; Bonnie Santangelo and her husband, Ron, of Reading; and Raymond H. Strunk Jr. of Reading; eight grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Eric, Deanna, Amy, Matthew, Lacey and Summer and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, George W. Turner (1955); her second husband, Raymond H. Strunk, Sr. (2013); her son, William R. Strunk (1996); and her brother, Richard Kreska.
Services will be in Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 1110 Snyder Rd., Reading, PA 19609 on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends will be received in the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
