Augusta E. Andermann, 92, of Matawan, died Monday, November 15 at Victoria Healthcare in Matawan. Born in Bronx, NY, she lived in New Burgh, NY, and Englishtown, before moving to Matawan.
Miss Andermann was a nurse for Split Rock Nursing Home in Bronx for 15 years before retiring in 1981. She was a member of the senior group at Chapel on the Hill Church, New Burgh, NY.
Augusta was predeceased by her parents, Henry & Rose, her sisters, Gertrude Andermann & Helen Michaels, and her brother, Henry Andermann. She is survived by her niece, Dorothy Bennett, her great nephew, Daniel, and great niece, Allison.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 9-9:30am at the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 Rt. 9, Old Bridge, NJ. Interment will follow to Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, Queens, NY.
