BARBARA J. ADAMS, 88, of Fort Wayne, departed her life to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Parkview Hospital. She was a homemaker and volunteered in the Lutheran Hospital Gift Shop for 30 years and was secretary to the Chaplain. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was Past President of Lutheran Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Vernon J.; sons, David J. Adams of Penn Valley, Calif. and Dale R. Adams of Gualala, Calif.; and brother, E. James Morton of Washington, D.C. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mark Neubacher officiating. Calling also from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at the funeral home. Entombment in Corcordia Cemetery Gardens.
