Barbara Leone Sears of Colton, CA, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2012, at Ramada Ranch Board and Care in Yucaipa. Barbara was born to Chester and Ella Caldwell on June 6, 1914, in Kalkaska, Michigan. She moved with her family to Colton, CA, in 1926. She married Charles Sears in 1938, and had one son, Robert. Barbara enjoyed involvement in the local Boy Scouts, PTA, and Colton Women's Club. She was also an active member of the Mariner's at Colton Presbyterian Church. Barbara was employed at the Colton Western Auto store and for many years at Perry's Stationery Store. One of her favorite memories was of her trip to the Holy Land and the surrounding region.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Charles, exactly 43 years prior - December 17, 1969; also by her son Robert. Barbara is survived by her daughter-in-law, Joyce Sears, of Banning, CA, four grand-daughters, Sidney Franklin (Greg) and Suzanne Doucette (Mike) of Yucaipa; Stephanie Dawson (Bob) of Maryville, TN; Stacy Doud (Donald) of Surprise, AZ; 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, and will be missed by all.
