Bernice "Edna" Bauer

Edna was born on June 11, 1917, in Locke Township; died February 21, 2010, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1994; her sons, Lawrence and Robert; great-grandson Thad; brothers, Dale, Bird and Joe Bickford and sister, Bertha Bennett. She was survived by her grandsons, Randy (Tammy) Bauer, Terry Bauer, Michael Bauer; grandchildren, Kylee, Jessica, Michael, Randy, Jr, Kayla and Robert; sister, Nina Baughan. Edna spent her lifetime cooking, both at MSU and retiring after many years of service at Ingham Medical Hospital. She was a kind and outgoing person who loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St, Williamston. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Rowley Cemetery.
