Bertha Mae Epler Armel, 100, of Vienna passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Parkersburg Care Center.
She was born Dec. 29, 1911 in Grace, WV a daughter to the late Charles and Grace Epler. She was a housewife
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Armel Sr, son, Charles P. "Pat" Armel, great grandsons, Justin McCauley, and Dana Jones, great granddaughter, Gloria Malone, brothers, William, Woodrow, Carter, Frank, and Jack Epler, and sisters, Kathleen Phillips, Justine Burdette, Nellie Arnold, and Louise Rice.
She is survived by her sons, Frank H. Armel Jr. and his wife June, and John W. Armel and his wife Shirley, daughter, Margaret G. Sheppard, grandchildren, Linda Hoskins, Vickie Jones, Diana Jones, C. Patrick Armel, Debra Hurd, Michael Armel, Jimmy Armel, Johnny Batten, Angela Hunt, Rebecca Rodak, Matthew Sheppard, John Armel Jr., Sandra Kuck, Margie Suder, and Suzette Hungerford, 13 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, brother, Robert Epler, along with several extended family members.
Service will be Saturday, July 28, 2012, 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with Pastor Todd Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
