Bertha J. Felag, age 92, of Somerset died July 20 ,2011 in Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph F. Felag and Nellie (Pokraka) Felag, she lived in Somerset most of her life.
She was a graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1936 and the former Thibodeau Business School, 1937. An Office Manager for over 40 years, she was employed by the former Shelburne Shirt Company, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church.
Surviving: one sister Celia Amora of Taunton, MA., four nieces Nancy Threadgill of Warren, RI., Mary Johns-Accrino and her husband Stephen of Bristol, RI., Jayne Balasco and her husband Richard of Warren, RI., Patricia Pender of Brookline, NH., three nephews Sen. Walter S. Felag, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Warren, RI., Mark Felag and his wife Adela of Barrington, RI., and John Felag and his wife Angela of Milford, CT. sixteen great nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Frances Felag and Walter S. Felag Sr.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Sat. July 23, 2011 at 8:30 from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at ROSE E. SULLIVAN, 866 County St. Somerset followed by a funeral mass at 10AM in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave. Somerset. Her family will greet friends in the funeral home from 8:30AM to 9:30AM prior to her mass. Burial in St Patrick's Cemetery in Somerset.
