Bettie Jean Ahlf, 85, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas, El Dorado, AR. She was born February 4, 1927 in Muscatine, Iowa and married Robert Daniel Ahlf March 1, 1949.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Daniel Ahlf; her parents Harry B. and Edna V. Thompson; brothers Herbert G. and Robert E. Thompson.
She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Mark Ahlf of Camden, AR; a brother, Thomas W. Thompson and wife Barbara of Lufkin, TX; a brother, Steven B. Thompson and wife Janice of Camden, AR; as well as nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends at the Runge Funeral Home in Davenport, Iowa 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Runge Funeral Home followed by interment at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, Iowa.
