Betty Jean Alverson

Age 89, died July 11, 2012. She was born March 13, 1923 to Edward and Grace (Ackley) Traub. Betty was a graduate of Deerfield High School and was co-founder of B & B Budget Consignment Shop in Williamston. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Percy Alverson and grandson Ryan Lee Alverson. Betty is survived by her daughter, Sheila Alverson (Wayne P. Seely) two sons, Keith (Greer) Alverson, Tim (Jetty) Alverson, grandchildren Shayna, Kendra, Matt, Shaun, Derek, Kelsey, Jordan and 5 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at West Locke Wesleyan Church, 2652 Haslett Rd., Williamston with Rev. Michael A. Black officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Church. Contributions in Betty's memory may be made to the Church.
