Betty Alice Alyea, age 84, of Bitely, MI, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 10, 2013. She was born on July 17, 1928 in Warren, PA to Orlo J. and Mabel M. (Woods) Baker. Betty was an active member of First Baptist Church of Newago.
Surviving is her husband, Sherman; 4 daughters, Vicky (Martin) Cole, Sherrie (Gary) Beimers, Janet (Dale) Osmolinski, and Sandra (Bruce) Yager; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Jay Alyea; granddaughter Christine Kuipers and her sister, Helen.
A memorial service in celebration of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church of Newago, 1546 E. 82nd St., Newago, with Pastor Mark Holeman and Pastor Wes Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
