Betty J. Austin, 89, of Brooksville, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at her son's residence in Brooksville. She was born in Allisonia, Virginia and arrived in the area in 1975 coming from Dublin, Virginia. She was a homemaker and attended Christian Life Assembly Of God Church in Brooksville. She is predeceased by her husband Willie E. Austin, and one son, Freddie Austin. She enjoyed quilting and working in her flower beds. Survivors include: 2 sons, Dennis (Delores) Austin, and Rickey Austin; 3 brothers, Steve, Matthew, and Danny Jarrells of Virginia; 3 sisters, Edith Alley and Almeta Bushong of Ohio, and Stella Dalton of Virginia. 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren.
