Billie Lou Brock Albrecht

November 23, 1926 - December 31, 2010
Billie Lou Brock Albrecht, 84, formerly of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away
on December 31, 2010 in Waco, Texas. Born November 23, 1926, in Livingston,
Texas, she was the daughter of Lora Bell and William Lester Brock.

While living in Pasadena and Houston, Billie was a member of Queens Road
Baptist Church, and Freeway Manor Baptist Church. After moving to New
Braunfels in 1988, she joined the First Baptist Church, where she found joy
in the fellowship of the church, especially through cooking for
church-sponsored meals. Prior to that she was a member of Freeway Manor
Baptist Church, Houston, Texas and Queens Road Baptist Church in Pasadena ,
Texas .

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Frederick C.
Albrecht, and brothers Tom, Patrick, and William Brock, and sister-in-law
Joan Findlay Zora. Survivors include three children; Richard (Karen
Mayo-Albrecht) of Tyler, Karen (John Chatmas) of Waco, and Susan Williams
(Jim) of Austin; brother Douglas Brock; sisters Myra Bailey, Sandra Estel,
and Judy Newsome; nieces and nephews Connie and Cindy Franklin, Sara
Garrett, Charles, William, and Robert Brock, Carol Czarneski, Jane McEwen,
and Anne Findlay-Chamberlain; three grandchildren: Ryan, Bonnie, and
Stephanie; two great grandchildren: Ethan and Christian; two step
grandchildren: Avery and Clayton; and one step-great-grandchild, Lillian.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 5 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist
Church, New Braunfels, Texas followed by graveside services at Guadalupe
Valley Memorial Park.
