Bob Anderson, 80, of Van Buren, Arkansas, died November 11, 2009 in Van Buren. He was born May 2, 1929 in Mariaville, NE. He was a retired self employed Dairy Farmer and Carpenter, he owned and operated Bob's Mini-Golf in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church, served as Young at Heart Leaders in Eldon, Missouri, and was involved in the R.V. Ministry where he helped build churches. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steve Farver. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Anderson of the home; three daughters, Nancy Farver of Van Buren, AR, Lynette Jones and her husband, Mark of Van Buren, AR, Mavonne LaRue and her husband, Jim of Ketchum, OK; one son, Michael Anderson and his wife, Debra of Mountain Grove, MO; one sister, Darlene Jons and her husband, Loren of Bonesteel, SD; two brothers, Cressel Anderson and his wife, Eula of Nixa, MO and Russell Anderson and his wife Sandy of Omaha, NE; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Selman, Jeff Farver, Shane Anderson, Shaun Anderson, Jordan Jones, Kelsey Jones, and Caleb Jones; two great grandchildren, Savannah Selman and Sabastian Selman. Funeral service will be 9:30 A.M. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with burial at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jim LaRue, Jeff Farver, Steve Selman, Shane Anderson, Shaun Anderson, and Jordan Jones. The family will visit with friends from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
