Alicia, Drew, Aidan, Cale, and the entire weed family, I remember Tripp as the largest and funniest person I have ever met. Alicia, I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and the Kids in my prayers... I have found great comfort myself in this passage from Phillippians 4:6-7 (NLT) "Don't worry about anything: instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Tripp was a fraternity brother of mine at Wofford, and because of our age difference, I didn't get to know him that well. What I do remember is that he always had a smile, an outstretched hand of friendship, and an encouraging word for the "new guys", and that's not something easily forgotten. His family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers, and I will keep the memories of him until we meet again.
