BRENDA SUE ALDRIDGE, 63, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at her residence. Born March 29, 1949, in Langdale, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Wilce Else and Mary Lois (Godfrey) Monroe . She worked in assembly at GE/Lockheed Martin/ Bae Systems for 30+ years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of American Legion Post 241. Surviving are her husband, George Aldridge of Fort Wayne; daughter, Tracey (Donald) Lolley of West Pointe, Ala.; daughter, Loretta Brace of Fort Wayne; son, George L. (Linda) Aldridge Jr. of Fort Wayne; daughter, Shelia Jo (Daniel W.) Stoner of Butler; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchild ren; and three sisters. She was also preceded in death by five brothers. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with calling one hour prior.
