Halcomb, Brett, 43, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 26, 2012
following a heart attack. On Christmas day Brett said he was happier than he ever
thought possible. Brett was a wonderful husband, father and son who touched
many lives with his gentle loving character.
He graduated from the University of
Louisville. Brett loved sports, family life and his work at Humana. Survivors are his
loving wife, Vicki Glass Halcomb and his children, Savannah and Dallas Gibbs
Halcomb; parents, Col. Dallas Halcomb and Patricia of Glendale, KY ; sister Whitney
Payne (Chad) and nephews Spencer and Mitchell Payne of Atlanta, GA.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road.
Private Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11-1 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village.
