Carl L. Brown, age 84, of Defiance, Ohio died November 24, 2011 at the Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio.
He was born to Roy and Lula (Tewell) Brown on July 1, 1927 in Fairchance, Pennsylvania. Carl worked and retired from General Motors in Defiance. He was also an U.S Veteran serving in the Navy.
Carl was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann (Cunningham) Brown; step-daughter, Cathleen S. Sullivan; step-grandson, Billy Moran; twin brother, Earl (Evelyn) Brown; 6 nieces and nephews, Jeff (Chris) Freeman, Craig Freeman, John (Linda) Brown, Bill Ryan, Beth Dubois, and Cindy (Frank) Prah; a sister-in-law Louise (Bob) Kerr.
Carl was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jim, Tom, and Dick Brown; 3 sisters, Phyllis Fike, Mary Ryan, and June Brown.
Carl's request was to have no services.
Carl will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind, patient, and generous man and will be greatly missed by all of us.
