Green, Carl W. 62 of Providence passed away on December 27, 2012. He was the husband of Emily (Santagata) Green for 38 years.
Born in Ft. Dix, NJ he was the son of the late Ecklis and Bernice (Wallerick) Green.
Carl served in both the US Army and the US Navy for 20 years, and proudly served in the Vietnam War. After his military career, he drove tractor trailer cross country for over 20 years before retiring due to illness.
He was the father of Stephanie Green; grandfather of Amber and Steven Yaghoobian; brother of Ronald Green and his wife Debra, Cecelia Schriner and her husband Dwaine, Cleo Craig, Roxie Green and the late Jeffrey Green and uncle of several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother in law of Beverly and Robert Santagata.
His funeral and visitation will be held Monday at 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence.
