Carmelita Alesna Ko, age 58 of Lancaster, California, passed away on September 29, 2012. She was born in CarCar, Cebu, Philippines on April 30, 1954 to Leonardo and Rosalia (Alesna Sciacor) Cabantan.
Carmelita graduated from San Carlos University in Cebu City. She married Joey Ko in Cebu City on December 23, 1976. A member of The Church on the Way (Pentecostal Foursquare Christian) in Van Nuys, California, Carmelita authored the book, "Rough, Rugged And Sweet, A Journey To Destiny," in 2011.
