Carol Bell, age 73, a resident of Madge, died on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at the Benedictine Living Center of Spooner.
Carol Maurine Todd was born on March 2, 1939, at home in Madge Township to parents Maurice and Anna (Donaldson) Todd. Carol attended the Madge School through the 8th grade and then attended and graduated from Spooner High School. After graduation, she attended Beautician School in the Twin Cities. On July 13, 1963, she was united in marriage to Charles "Chuck" Bell in Shell Lake. Carol was a green thumb with plants, loved kids and her dogs, and always wanted to help others any way she could.
Carol is survived by her children: Anna (Glen) Sprenger of Sarona, WI, Maurice (Renee) Bell of Spooner, WI, grandchildren: Jesse, Missy, Brittany, Jacob, honorary grandchildren: Jason, Stacy, Leslie, 9 great grandchildren, brother Lonnie (Gen) Todd of Madge, WI, sisters: Cathy (Harley) Wickware, of Sarona, WI, and Theressa Vanderhyde of Spooner, WI.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband Chuck, brothers and sisters: Melvin, Albert, Mae, Evelyn, and an infant brother and sister.
Visitation for Carol Bell was held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at the Dahl Funeral Home from 2-3pm, with a graveside service to follow at the Madge Cemetery. Visitation continued after the graveside service at the Madge Town Hall from 4-6pm. Casket Bearers were Bill Krieg, Kiko Murphy, J.C. Sprenger, Jesse Sprenger, Harley Wickware, Jason Wickware, and Honorary Casket Bearer Frank Galli.
