CAROL CARTER age 79 of Springfield died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at her home. She was born the daughter of John & Laura (Bromfield) Pinkerman on October 18, 1933 in Ironton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Homer, her son Larry Carter, her daughter Karen Fowler, and her granddaughter Lisa Matney. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Richard) Cox, Shirley Rife, and Sherrie Carter all of Springfield, a brother Leon Pinkerman, grandchildren, William Jordan, Brenda (William) Wilson, Jeremiah (Amanda) Johnson, Michael Holmes, Jason Johnson, Kathy Matney, and Thomas Lyons, several great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild. Carol will be missed by all who love her.
