Carol was born May 2, 1942 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Earnest and Rose Flagnelli. She was raised in Farrell, Pennsylvania. Hello Valerie, You don't know me, but I worked with your mom at the LSC. We both were going thru chemo at the same time a couple of years ago, and she and I were close. I am so very sorry to find the news of her passing; I wish I had known and could have attended her memorial to pay my respects and support for you (I know you and the children were the light of her life). She was a most dear and remarkable lady, and will be sorely missed. What a blessing to have known her.

Hi Carol and family. Val, Delilah said you had a great service for your mom. Carol you have great grand children they reflect the love you have for them. I used the present tense because I know you are still watching over them.
Amo te in saecula From the Latin a Blessing that Alex forwarded to Dorothy and I forward it to you. It means "Love you forever" and/or a more formal one like. "To love you for all eternity". Carol give Dorothy a hug and kiss for me.
Your Uncle Bert and Farm Boy brother in law

It was a pleasure getting to know you and your family Valerie. I love all of you. And I know your mother is watching over all of us and admiring the strength and love you have given to her and are giving to your family. I have loved Aunt Carol all of my life. It was a joy and privilege to know her as a teenager and to be part of the rest of her life too. I know her fondest wish was to be a wonderful grandma and mother. And there is no doubt she accomplished those goals and many, many more. The love you, your children, and Brandon demonstrated over the years and at the celebration of her life yesterday, highlight that fact. My prayers, love, and thoughts are with all of Carol's family and friends. I will miss her beautiful smile, kind and thoughtful words, and the joy & love she brought into my life here on this Earth, but she will be with me and you forever.

Even though i didn't get to see her often, I always enjoyed the time we did have together. We would send little notes and random trinkets. Everytime i would get a little note, i would instantly be in a better mood for the rest of the day. Her notes always put a smile on my face. I loved her very much and i will really miss her but i know she and my grandma will always be watching over me

Aunt Carol - saying and hearing her name has always made us smile. It is difficult to convey in words how much she has meant to our family. Alex and Dottie have great memories of picking her up at an airport where she missed a flight and we had to ask the about finding our 'lost aunt' - we found her!- Tay has wonderful communications with her aunt about future trips to Eygpt and just fun things in general. She is loved - and she continues to make us smile - Love to the family - It is comforting to know that our moms are together and will be with us always.

High Valerie: Every time our families got together Your mother always brighten the day. Your mother was talented and beautiful. She always put you and Paul first. Dorothy and I remember her as sister, mother , hard working. Your mother was selfless when the chips were down. Even in illness she volunteered to try new medications and treatments knowing that in so doing help others. Like all talented and intelligent women your mother loved you and hers. Val you have that same courage. Dorothy and I know that you will go forward, raise your Children enjoy life. (Dorothy-I) will pray for you and yours. Tell Paul Hi for me.
