CAROLE AICKELIN, 72, of Port St. Lucie, FL, died October 6, 2011 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Born in Worchester, Massachusetts, she lived in Port St. Lucie, FL for the past 8 years coming from Cary, North Carolina.
Prior to retirement, Carole was an Insurance Compliance Analyst for GE financial in North Carolina.
She was a member of the Cascades Tennis Club in St. Lucie West.
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Howard Aickelin, of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Lisa Williams of Clayton, NC, Diana Trumper of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Carole was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Robinson and her mother Thelma Robinson.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 pm on Wednesday October 12, 2011 at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel in Port St. Lucie, FL. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm. Hospice Chaplain Carol York will officiate.
