Carolyn Geiger Aldrich born in New Orleans, February 22, 1936, went to eternal rest on December 3, 2011. Beloved wife of 58 years to Wendell (Jerry) G. Aldrich. Daughter of the late Charles and Huey Geiger. Mother of Wendell G. Aldrich, Jr., Nancy Aldrich Byrd (James) of Baton Rouge, Brian C. Aldrich and Rebecca L. Aldrich. Grandmother of Amanda Byrd Fontenot (Jessie), Sara Byrd Andree, Alexandra Byrd, Wendell G. Aldrich, III (Melissa), and Christopher Aldrich. Great grandmother of Aime, Brooklyn, Brody, Tyler, Braeden, Brandlee, Jeffery and Baylee. Sister of C. Samuel Geiger and wife Carol. Carolyn was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She enjoyed gardening, spending time at the beach and volunteering with different civic and social organizations. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
