Carolyn Louise Baird -
Of Batteese Lake, Michigan passed away on April 4, 2011 at the age of 78. Carolyn was born on August 31, 1932 to parents, Donald William and Delcye Mae Darby, and stepmother, Hurma Louise Darby. She was married to William Thomas Baird for 20 years. She is survived by her stepmother, Hurma Darby; sister, Annie Huff; children; Bob, Jeff, Candy, grandchildren; Andrew, Christa, Emily, and Allison. Preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Baird; her mother, Delcye Mae Darby; her father, Donald William Darby. Carolyn was a volunteer with Hospice and a Girl Scout Leader. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the funeral home from 4 to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at Waldron Cemetery, Waldron, Michigan, (Broom Road in Waldron, MI, Hillsdale County). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Allegiance Hospice Home, 2150 Kingsbrooke Dr., Jackson Michigan 49202.
