CATHRYN "CATHY" A. BADDERS, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1941, in Portland. "She was a loving daughter and sister who loved to cross stitch." She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School Class of 1959; and a graduate of St. Frances College Class of 1963. She was employed as a Social Worker for the State of Indiana for 15 years. She was a member of Indiana Teachers Association. "Great appreciation to the staff in ICU and CICU at Lutheran Hospital for the last two months of gentle care." She is survived by her mother, Dorothy R. (Kappel) Badders of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Kay Badders of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father, George V. Badders. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, with visitation one hour prior to service, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel.
