Cecilia Adamczyk, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 5 2013 with her loving family by her side. Born in Newark, Cecilia was a longtime resident of Union where she was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church. She also belonged to the Rosary Society as well as the 60 plus club at the church.
Cecilia was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter J. She is survived by her children Fran Ellingham, Walter and his wife Sherry, Audrey, Robert, and Joanne, as well as 7 Grandchildren,2 Great-grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great- Grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Benjamin Topolewski, many friends, extended family, and her beloved dog Brandy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 9 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Ave Union NJ. Funeral mass will be offered at Holy Spirit Church on Thursday January 10 at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice 242 Old New Brunswick Road Piscataway Township, NJ 08854.
