Chad James Babineaux
DeQuincy - Chad James Babineaux, 30, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at a local hospital.
Born in Sulphur, Chad lived in DeQuincy and graduated from South Beauregard High School. His greatest enjoyment was the outdoors, hunting, fishing and being with family and friends. He was very proud of his two brothers whom he dearly loved. Those who were close to him called him "Digger". Chad also wrote poetry from his heart that he shared with family and friends. Fish and game will now be safer because he was one who could catch a fish or find game in every waterhole or woods he went to.
Survivors include his parents, Perry and Renee (Cormier) Babineaux of DeQuincy; brothers, Jeremy Babineaux of Lake Charles and Heith Babineaux of DeQuincy; Paternal grandparents, Burdan and Elder Babineaux of Lake Charles and Maternal Grandmother, Annie Cormier of DeQuincy. He was preceded in death by two uncles, Michael and Curtis Babineaux; grandfather, Charles Cormier; and two cousins, Carter Cormier and Bryan Barrow.
His funeral service will be at 11:00a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in Hixson Snider Funeral Home Chapel with Father Edward Brunnert officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 17, from 5:00 to 9:00p.m. with a Scripture Service followed by a Rosary at 6:15p.m. at the Funeral Home.
And in death Chad gave the greatest gift by being an organ donor – the Gift of Life – so others could live thru him. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
"There is one thing that I ask in return. Is that all the choices you make from them good or bad, you may learn. I leave my heart on paper with this little note. I hold you inside as if the day we met. And there has never been a single regret. Don't let people tell you how to feel. For of all the things a person has in life, love is the only thing that's real."
