Charis Baack passed away at the Evergreen Hospice Center in Kirkland, WA. of natural causes. She was 84. She was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Cecil and Cora Yetter. The family moved to Blaine, WA. where she grew up and graduated from high school. She married David G. Barber in 1944. They moved to Renton, WA. and raised their two children there. She was an avid gardener with rhododendrons and dahlias being her favorite. She also loved to dance, sometimes going 2 to 3 times a week. She was preceded in death by David in 1965. She met and married Rudolf Baack in 1972 and he preceded her in death in 1993. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Reeve of Redmond, WA. and her son and daughter-in-law, David and Caren Barber of Port Angeles, WA. She also has 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov 28, 2009. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m., service at 12:00 p.m. and graveside service at 1:00 p.m.
