Charles R. Alfred, 89, of Louisville, passed away Friday, November 4, 2011.
He was a retired installer for Jeridon Floor Covering and a Navy veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife Marian J. Harrell Alfred; children, Sharon Beam (Don), Tony Alfred (Deborah), Virginia "Ginger" Ottersbach (Bruce), and Kelly Ottersbach (Jimmy); 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 12-8 pm Sunday.
