Charles R. Anderson, 71, passed away on February 26, 2013 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart, FL.
He was born inNewark, New Jersey and had previously lived in Freehold, New Jersey, before relocating to the Stuart area nine months ago.
Mr. Anderson was a retired HVAC mechanic for Stop and Shop and the Local Union #9 in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. He was also a member of the Martin County Golf Club and Presbyterian faith.
Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the United States Air Force and proudly served our country in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his son, Robert C. Anderson of Norfolk, VA; brother, Richard R. Anderson of Melbourne, FL; sister, Barbara M. Hadden of Stuart, FL; and one grandchild, Robert C. Anderson, II.
Mr. Anderson was predeceased by his son, Randy A. Anderson.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
