Charles (Chuck) William Duncan Sr.
July 24, 1928 –March 21, 2013
Chuck was born in Bellingham, WA to Sequim parents William & Eleanor Duncan. He was the oldest of 5 children, Dean (deceased 2012) Russ, Jim and Pauline (deceased 2007).
Chuck attended Sequim grade & high schools and worked many summers in nearby hay fields. He joined the Air Force on March 12, 1947 where he became Corporal with the 20th Weather Squadron. When he was discharged several years later he settled in the Tacoma area to raise his family.
He travelled back to Sequim whenever possible to visit with family and always knew that Sequim would be home sometime in the future.
In approximately 1963 he, wife Rose and their 2 oldest children, Charlene and Chuck Jr. moved to Chehalis where he was to manage La May Garbage Service in Lewis County. Soon after, Chuck and Rose decided to make their family larger and adopted Lorrie, Paul and David.
In 1993 Chuck retired and immediately he & Rose moved to the Dungeness area in Sequim. Rose passed away in 2007. In 2007 Chuck and Winona bet and began another segment of his life.
Chuck leaves behind his wife Winona; brothers Russ and Jim; children Charlene, Chuck Jr., Lorrie, Paul and David; four step-children; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
