LTC Charles Gene Freeman (Ret.) of Williamsburg flew his last mission on May 30, 2013. Destination: heaven.
Chuck was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on July 1, 1933, to Charles Ellis and Lillie Marie Freeman, who both preceded him in death. He graduated from Jonesboro High School and continued his education at Arkansas State University, where he enrolled in ROTC and received his bachelor's degree in business.
