Charles Edwin Woodcock, Sr., 64, of Ellabell, Ga., died Monday, Apr 1, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born September 7, 1948 in Savannah, Ga. He retired after 25 years of loyal service from the City of Savannah. He was a member of Central Christian Church. He had a passion for any type of music and was well known and admired by many fellow musicians in Savannah. He lived life to the fullest. He was always on the go and was known for never missing an opportunity for a good time with friends. He was also a regular in City Market and welcomed everyone to enjoy good times with him.
He is survived by his Mother, Elizabeth Woodcock of Statesboro, Ga.; wife, Helen Woodcock, of Ellabell, Ga; son, Charles E. Woodcock, Jr., of Savannah, Ga; 2 daughters, Christy Woodcock of Pooler, Ga., and Nitie Elizabeth Woodcock of Pembroke, Ga; 3 grandchildren, Chelsy Rush, Oliver White, and Britny Jordan.
Visitation: 6-7 p. m. Thursday, at Fairhaven Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel
Memorial Service: 7 p.m. Thursday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev.Fred Brown and Rev. Tim Brown officiating.
