Cheryl Shook Babington, 64, Super MawMaw, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012, peacefully at home, her favorite place. She was born in Akron, OH and came to Brevard County in 1964 from Japan; her father was in the US Air Force.
Cheryl was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cocoa Beach, FL and was a servant for the Lord Jesus Christ to any in need.
Cheryl was a devoted pator's wife and her family was her greatest earthly joy. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and was always looking for creative ways to love them well.
She has blazed the trail to glory for her husband of 43 years, Ken Babington; daughter, Lisa Arnold and husband, Jeff, and their children Blake, Shelby and Ashleigh Howell; daughter Judy Kay Kyker and husband, Jimmy, and their children, Travis, Sam, Caroline, Ben, Jack and Eli; son, Ron Babington, and wife, Jenny-Lynn, and their children, Afton, Ponder, Rose and Winnie; her father, Arvid Shook; brother, Keith Shook and Viviana Iduate, along with Keith's children, Kevin, Christopher and Lauren Shook; mother-in-law, Celestia Babington; brothers-in-law, Tom and Tempa Babington and Robert and Ann Babington. The entire Babington and Shook family will be eternally loved by her.
Calling hours will be Friday, October 26, 2012, from 6 - 8 p.m., at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 1 p.m., at Club Zion Community Church (formerly First Baptist Church of Cocoa Beach).
